Update (5 Oct): Apple has confirmed an issue that can cause some iPhone 18 Pro Max devices on p11 (AT&T) to lose service. Other iPhone 18 models are not affected. If the device is working, users should update to iOS 27.0.1 and check Settings > General > About for a carrier settings update. If the user's iPhone 18 Pro Max is displaying SOS mode they should reach out to Apple directly to discuss further troubleshooting and potentially replacement options.

Some iPhone 18 Pro Max devices on the p11 network may be unable to make calls, send texts or use data. This includes calls to 911.
Apple has released an iOS update that addresses the issue. p11 has advised that the update resolves the affected scenarios.
We recommend subscribers on iPhone 18 Pro Max to install the latest iOS update now (Settings > General > Software Update). Because 911 access can be affected, please send this notice as a priority.
